Manish Kumar 12th Jul, 2020

Hello,

As we are seeing admission process is getting late due to this pandemic. Many Delhi university college give 1% relaxation to girls student (mainly co-ed Colleges).

To get the exact estimation whether you get admission or not please refer to previous year cut-off as it helps you more. We see every year cut-off vary so we cannot predict exactly about the admission Cut-off of this year. Please find previous year cut-off using below url and predict chances of getting admission:

Hope it helps you.

I have 91.7 %in best four. Is there any chance to get admission in matreyi clg of u?

Apurva anand 2nd Jul, 2019

Hello Riya, I assume you are from general category. You can easily get courses like B.A(Hons in history), B.A(Hons. in sociology), and B.A(programme) course as the cutoff in the 2nd round in 2018 was around 90% for each of those courses. You can also get BSc courses too in that college. Follow this link for the 2018 cutoff for all the colleges here: http://www.du.ac.in/cut-off.html

I got best four 95.25 .what are my chances for geography honours in kirorimal college 2nd cuttoff list

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2019

Hi,

Congratulations on your good score in class 12.

Geography Hons is a popular course, but not all colleges in DU offer it. Kirori Mal and Miranda House are the best colleges offering the course, and their cutoffs are really high. The first cutoff for the course at Kirori Mal this year is 96.5%. Last year, admission to Geography Hons at Kirori Mal closed in the third cutoff list at 95.75%. Hence, it is quite difficult for you to get a seat there, though there are chances.

Other good colleges for Geography are Indraprastha College for Women(first cutoff at 96%), Kamala Nehru College and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College(Morning). These colleges have an impressive Geography department and you may take admission there without any regrets.

Hope this helped. All the best!

I got 88% in four best subjects and i am belongs to obc can i will take admission in north campus

Shreya gupta 9th May, 2019
Hi
For Delhi University admissions you have to calculate your best of four for the merit base course selection.
Now the method to calculate best of four is:
1. You must include one language course which can be called as elective, functional
1. One relevant subject that the subject you will pursue like for BSC statistics and BSc maths Hons you have to include mathematics
2. Two subjects from list A
checklist a from the university web portal in case you do not include the subject given in list A then there will be a deduction of 2.5 % like if you include physical  education or music in your best of four calculation then  there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your overall best of four percentage.

Now firstly the course you choose matters because some courses the cutoff is quite high and for others it is average like around 80%. If your obc that is from reserved category you might get admission in North campus maybe not in initial cut off but in later cut off.

I hope I was helpful
All the best

Sir /mam my marks are eng.86 acc.91 bst.91 eco 95 music 100 phy. Edu 99 which 4 subjects are included for admission in DU.

Shreya_1549549812 Student Expert 2nd May, 2019

Hello riya,

First of all congo for scoring such high marks in each of the subject. Now coming back to your question the four subject that du will  consider for merit list admission are the three core subject i.e account , buissness studies and economics and a language subject i.e English in your case.

So calculate your percentage with these four and go for admission process as the application form are available now online on thier official website.

Hope it helps.

Thank you  :)

I have 78.6 % in board this year ,will I came in cutoff list

Sentila Longkumer 5th Apr, 2019

Hey, the competition in Delhi University is really high as you may have known. They only take the best of all. But it is really hard to judge if anyone will get in because of the number of applicants each year and the marks they might have scored. Delhi University does not have just one college under it, it has many. So you may not get into the top colleges but you will get into one college that is not ranked so high. It really depends on luck.

Best wishes
