No it's not compulsory to study History in 10+2 in order to pursue a bachelor's degree in it, there might be some percentage deduction in a few colleges but minor. Otherwise, if you have cleared 10+2 you are very much eligible to pursue BA History Honours.

All information would be given to you by SOL regarding your study centre and all other details in a text message probably by the end of September when admission procedures come to an end. It's main centre is in Vishvavidyalaya and classes are held in the weekend only.

As I said both are affiliated with University of Delhi hence the degree that you will hold after 3 years will be the same yet I'd prefer Ramanujan College since it is graded A by NAAC. It's infrastructure is new and so much better than other colleges affiliated
