Semester break happens for two times in a academic calendar.One on December (winter break) and Second on June -July(Summer break). Odd Semester starts form July and ends on November and even semester starts from January and ends on May.
In DU there are two semesters in a year.One starts from July and end on December followed by winter break.Second Semester starts from January and ends on May followed by Summer break..You have exams on November and May.There will be practicals and marks for attendence.
