The KVPY Application Form will be released online in the second week of July 2019. If you enrolled in 1st year of an undergraduate programme in basic sciences then you can apply under SB Stream. You will have to apply this year. Next year you will not be eligible

If you have mentioned your category as general category in application , then you cannot change your category from general category to OBC category during admission process . Check whether the examination authority has given time to make corrections .
