There's nothing like that the one who scored highest will be given admission first. If your percentage lies between the cutoff provided by the college and is eligible accordingly then you'll be given admission. If you clear the cutoff you'll be given admission too irrespective of other things.

Hi, there are certain rules set by DU to calculate your best of four score:

• one compulsory language i.e English
  
• subject in which you wish to take admission
• the rest two academic/elective subjects according to list A
• if the subjects included in best of four calculation aren't mention in list
