yes you can apply for MSc. There is no restriction for gap years as mostly students choose to do a job after graduation and after some years they think of doing specialization.
for any stream's specialization, there is no restriction. You have to look how you will go through the process as top universities have entrance exams and screening tests for getting an admission into the college. You have to prepare accordingly

University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad does not offer any UG course. Whereas, this university offers integrated courses like integrated M.Tech, integrated M.Sc, integrated MA and M.Sc + Ph.D courses.
You can take addmission in M.Tech courses through JoSAA Counselling.
All other integrated courses are admitted only through UoH Entrance Exam.
