Hi Shreya! Hope you are doing great!
So, the entrance exams conducted by Lucknow University are easy to crack. They generally ask you basic questions related to your field. I, too am from Lucknow University, pursuing masters, and trust me, the entrance exams are easy.
You need to study whatever you were taught in your graduation years. Look for syllabus of Bachelors' on the website of Lucknow University, go through that, look for material related to the syllabus on google if you don't have related course experience. But keep in mind to deeply study all the domains of the field you are interested in. DO NOT leave any topic as being less important. The questions asked are straight. LU doesn't complicate the questions. Just have your concepts clear. Also, do read the notification 2 to 3 times, they mention everything, including syllabus for the entrance exam. Usually study material of the University itself is preferred for preparation, which you might get from the website of LU.
Regards!

When you are not satisfied with the college and branch you've got and aim for a better seat you go for float. It means you have been allotted a seat and you’ve accepted the seat but you want a better programme (quite obvious) than what you’ve been allotted. In this case once you are allotted a seat in the further rounds, you’ll lose the seat which was allotted previously. And the choices considered for float will be the ones which are above the allotted programme in your filled choices list. So it’s very important to fill choices intelligently.
