KCT business school has better placements overall.

Placements can be called as the USP of KCT Business School. Almost 95% of the students got placed in my seniors batch where the remaining 5% belonged to entrepreneurship stream. ITC, Coca-Cola, Zoho, Amazon, Colgate, E&Y are some the reputed companies that have visited the campus. The Salary ranged from 3.5L-12L with an average of 4.5L. Some of the roles for which the students were recruited was Business Analyst, Business development associate, Management trainee etc. More than 40% of the students got internship from college in which 7-10 students got pre-placement offer. Not all the companies offered stipend but a few ranging from 3k-11k. There is a placement cell which is very approachable anytime, puts lots of effort to get students placement. Placement training sessions happens regularly with placement consultancies tied up.

Few recruiters are - TCS,HCL,TotalGas,,HFFC,Indiabulls,Aircel,City Union Bank,BNP Paribas,IndiaMart,ITC…

If you consider about the ROI, then the rate is really high. It is because the dept is in a university run by the state govt and the fee is very less compared to other colleges of the same tier. The package offered is same as that of what is offered in colleges like SSN, PSG, TSM etc. For Regular the fee is 25grand and for Self Supportive it is 50grand.

yeah it is hell worthy to study there in madras MBA but the packages are bit lower when compared to some of top universities in India but if you studied well in Madras university then it is well easy to get job and also get settling is easy well by studying in it.

 Placements scenario is not that good here. The placements are decent enough but not as good as in TSM and PSG according to TANCET entry institutes. Marketing will hit the first position as always when it comes to placement, followed by finance, HR, and operations. Federal, ITC, Godrej, Naukri, TCS, ICICI, and Axis are some of the companies that visited last year. 

For 2017 placement, the highest salary offered was 9.2 LPA by Federal for finance, followed by TCS (around 5.7 LPA), HFFC (6 LPA), and so on.

No,you should not expect Madras University because only toppers under 100 rank can get admission as per the previous year cut offs.You can get colleges like Thiagarajar School of Management(Co-Ed), Madurai,St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, OMR, Chennai,Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram, Chennai,R M K Engineering College, Gummidipoondi, Thiruvallur etc.This is just an idea and the cut off changes every year.You can use the college predictor for more info.

Yes you can certainly get a chance to seek admission into psg College. Its  no doubt a very good collCol and you must not take a single chance to skip the seek of the admission over here. SRM is good college to do MBA.

Placements in the college are offered purely for sales and marketing. There is no support for other domains with the exception for operations which were good this semester. Some companies visited the campus for systems but offered very low salary package which is pretty sad because you'll be earning the same package as a fresher. It is good for those with less than 1-year experience. The college is really good for sales and marketing.
