I got 61% in commerce can i get admission in good college

G Rakesh 29th May, 2019

Hello.

You aggregate is the basic eligibility it doesn't mean that if you have aggregate you will get admission in college this is a myth.

You have to take a test that is entrance exam considered by the individual or some state level to get admission in particular college.

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

Hi I had scored 82.76% in hsc and I want to b.com ,so which is a better college for me in Mumbai with less fees and I am from open category.

Aryaman Tewari 29th May, 2019
Hello.

Going by your boards score and reservation category, I would suggest the following colleges in Mumbai-

1) any college of Narsee Monjee University (depends on seats and number of applicants though)
2) Poddar College.
3) KPB Hinduja College of Commerce, Mumbai.
3) KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce Mumbai.
4) Jai Hind College.
5) HR College of Economics and Commerce (it's a little difficult but you can still try)
6) Elphinstone College, Mumbai.
7) SIES college of Arts and Commerce, Mumbai.

If you check last year cutoffs, most of these colleges had cutoffs below 85 percent with KJ Somaiya reaching 77 and another reaching 71. Good luck!

I got 63.66 percent in hsc and in jeemains i got 51pecentile can i get admission in mumbai clg. But i wont good clg with less fees pls

NILUTPOL Student Expert 29th May, 2019
Hello,
Your score in 12 boards and in JEE main are very less to fetch you any government colleges or a good scholarship. So you have to go for private engineering colleges. The fees would be little high but you might get a scholarship in some of the private colleges through their entrance exams. Or if you are a reservation category then you might get some government assistance.
Here's a link for some the best private engineering colleges in Mumbai.
