sir my percentile is 86.37 then what is mu expected mains rank

Vikas gehlot 20th Jan, 2019

Hello

Greetings

Your percentile is 86.37 It means 86.37% student of the Total student appeared for the Exam are Behind You Therefore 13.63% students of the Total students appeared for the exam are Ahead of You, Therefore Your calculated rank is 119190

Your Rank would change Either Your Percentile Score is Increases in the next attempt or Number of Student increases in the Next attemptIf the Number of Student Increases to 1400000 and Your percentile remain same then Your New rank would be 190820

As per Your current Performance You may be eligible for JEE Advance But the final cutoff will be released once the JEE Main April gets Over

If Your Percentile Score Increases in the Next attempt Then Your Rank would Be calculated By the Following Formula

(100 - your total percentile score (Higher of two)) X Student appeared in JEE Main/100

Hope this Helps All the Best

I am from uttar pradesh, can I get admission in mumbai university btech?

Neha Jain 4th Jan, 2019

Hi there.

Yes. Obviously!

All you need to do is crack the entrance examination of particular University.

To talk specifically about, IIT- Bombay, you need to crack the JEE advance examinations to make sure to get into your desired college.

Your belonging to Uttar Pradesh won't matter if you clear the entrance examination of a particular college/University.

Please refer to the following link for more information:

Karan Hedaoo 27th Dec, 2018

Hello Dulal Roy,

Its a good percentile in MAT Exam and have fair chances to ace it.

Click on the link to use MAT pathfinder tool to get list of colleges in taht range.

MAT Is not known entrance exam as compared to CAT,XAT,IIFT.

According to previous year cutoff, some of good colleges accepting MAT Scores are :

1. Welingkr Mumbai , Banglore ---- TAPMI 95+

2. BIMM,pune 80+

3. BIMTECH, Retail  85-90+

4. SIES 95+

5. XIME , Banglore----- IMTY HYd 85-90+

I would suggest not to go beyond those college and try to be in tier 1 and 2 b schools.

Hope it clears your doubts. All the best for your future endeavours.
