i have 58.2 Percentage in matriculation but i filled up 58.28 Percentage in ssc online form submission Is there any problem in document verification

Subhrajit Mukherjee 21st Aug, 2021

Nope! You have nothing to worry about. Usually the aggregate percentage is considered up to one level of decimal place. SO you have nothing to worry about it as well as there will be no such a great discrepancy. You should focus on the examination you have filled for and all the best for your exams.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

what is the procedure/selection process to take up Mtech biotechnology in amity uni?

Nitin Mereddy 30th Sep, 2021

For admission to BTech in Biotech, Amity University Gurgaon itself holds entrance test. Students can apply online from the website. There is also facility of direct admission whose merit in 10+2 is very high. Moreover there is provision of handsome scholarships for all meritorious students which encourages the students.

Amity offers direct admission for the candidates who score 80% and above in +2. For the ones who have less than 80% the process includes giving the AMCAT test proceeded by an interview. Test include few subjective questions from 11th and 12th and few essay-based questions. However, for some course’s students scoring percentage less than 50 are not entertained as per the University’s admission policy.

I got 57 percentile in jee mains can i get any government or semi government college in UP ??

sknathani75 30th Sep, 2021
Dear Student,
As you didn't mentioned your category and domicile state, so I'm considering you in general category. According to the percentile mentioned, you are not eligible for any NITs or GFTIs in UP. Under AKTU govt colleges it's difficult to predict because AKTU taking admission on the basis of JEE for first time. But as per our experts you have very low chance to get a govt college, so I prefer you to go with private colleges. Some of the best colleges in UP are:
1. AK Garg Engineering College
2. GNIOT
3. Amity University
And many more.

i got 46 percentile in my jee mains and i belongs to sc cast from up can i get a govt. collage in up on this mark?

Biswadeep Biswas 21st Aug, 2021

Marks in mains is not the correct parameter to decide that you will get a seat in any colleges under mains(government colleges). we can decide it by your rank.

if your rank is below 28k(most accurately) in jee mains, then you can get seat in government colleges under mains.(max upto second round of counseling)

But try to get below 20k at least because, you have good range choices in your hand and opt for the course which you are interested.

Marks VS rank changes every year, but Rank VS college doesn’t change much.

I got 85 percentile in jee mains ,I am girl candidate .. can I get admission in HBTU ? what will be my open rank and also in category obc NCL .. from up .

Ayush Roy 21st Aug, 2021

Hello Mahi. You mentioned you are from Uttar Pradesh, you belong to OBC-NCL and you secured 85 percentile in JEE Main. Well, based on your percentile, your AIR should lie within the range of 153450 - 172500. As per your rank it is less likely for you to get chance at any streams in Harcourt Butlers Technical University, Kanpur. Although there is little to no chance in Round - 3 counselling but that cannot be predicted. As per records, in 2020 , the cutoff rank in Round - 1 counselling to get admission at any stream of HBTU was 84100 (OR - 25923 , CR - 84100) ; the same in Round - 2 counselling was 109994 (OR - 31516 , CR - 109994); the same in Round - 3 counselling was 121097 (OR - 31516 , CR - 121097).

I suggest you to prepare well for Phase - 4 of JEE Main and clear the exam with better marks to get chance in HBTU.

If you want to know your chances of admission in various colleges based on your rank or percentile, then use JEE Main College Predictor 2021 tool.

If you want to predict your rank or percentile based on your marks then use JEE Main Rank Predictor 2021 tool.

I hope this information is enough to clear your doubts.

Thank you and all the best for your future and career.

my expected neet score is 440 .i belong to sc category ,can i get any govt medical college in up through state quota , please tell .....

riteshkandpal499 30th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between.  162466 - 194616 but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the expected ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor
According to previous years the cutoff marks up in 2020 for sc category in some colleges are as follows :
1. Government Medical College, Badaun - 470 marks
2. Government Medical College, Jalaun - 465 marks
3. Government Medical College, Kannauj - 487 marks
4. Shaikh Ul Hind Maulana Mahmood Hasan Medical College, Saharanpur - 467 marks
So you have less chances to get seat in government medical colleges through state quota .
Here you can check the previous year cut off marks

You can use college predictor tool to know about the colleges you can get

can i join msc course as a back up option and prepare for cat exam to get mba admission in good clg ,if i will get admission in mba, can i continue msc and mba or else i have to discontinue from msc clg

pdwords Student Expert 21st Aug, 2021
Hello,

Firstly as per UGC norms candidates can now pursue two degree courses simultaneously but the only condition is one is to be done through distance mode and another through regular mode, hence if you're planning to prepare for MBA then you may consider opting for distance education for MSc, and this will also offer you ample amount of time to prepare for MBA, however MBA is a professional management pg degree, and if you aim to make a career in the domain of management then you are required to be focused in your studies, do well not only in academics but even give your best efforts for placement as well, eventually the reason for doing MBA is to land a great job with great pay package as well, hence it's not going to be a cakewalk pursuing MBA along with MSc even if that means doing through distance mode, as it will require you to attend practical classes or weekend classes for theory(though it can be personal choice, you can skip it as per your preference), submit assignments, appear for exams etc, so analyze all these things prior to making any decision.
