Can i get BAMS seat in up govt college at NEET score of 325?

chandni deb 20th Jan, 2021

Dear Student,

the information stated is for general as well as other category ,as you have not specified your respective category. For candidates belonging to general category they are required to have at least a minimum of 350 marks scored in NEET to get a seat in a government college for BAMS, whereas if the candidate belongs to a specific category such as SC/ST 325 marks are sufficient to help them fetch a seat in a government college.

Iam going to take part in up ug ayush counselling physical reporting in Lucknow but I filled obc in neet form and I am taking private bhms college. But I dont have obc caste certificate so will there be an issue

Anurag Khanna 20th Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See if you have applied for BHMS under OBC reservation quota then you must be having OBC-NCL reservation certificate and if you don't have the certificate then your seat may be cancelled or you might be transferred to General quota which has no reservation. Usually the caste certificate is required at the time of reporting to verify the caste reservation eligibility but If you don't have your caste reservation certificate right now and you can get it within few days then you can talk to the college authorities and request some time and you can also give them an application with the copy of receipt which you got at the time of applying for OBC-NCL certificate. If they approve your request then try to submit your certificate within time but if they don't then ask them for an alternative.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

why did Gandhiji eventually give up his ambition?

Neha Kanwar 19th Jan, 2021

Hello,

After reading Bell's Standard Elocutionist, Gandhi ji realised that he was pursuing a false ideal because he was not going to spend his lifetime in England. So, it was useless to learn elocution and dancing.

He realised that he was a student and should go on with his studies to qualify himself to join the inns of court. He declared that a character could make him a true gentleman otherwise he should forget the ambition.

Thus, Gandhi ji eventually gave up.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

what is round 1,2,3 councelling and mop up councelling in neet.and what is convener quota in mbbs.how many total govt seats are there in ts meeical colleges and how many convener quota sets are there in telangana.

Ayush 20th Jan, 2021

Hello candidate,

There are three rounds of counselling in the neet general counselling process, where the students are allotted in different Government colleges and other Institutions on the basis of their ranks and as per their reservation criteria.

Convenor quota in MBBS refers to to those government saves in in private medical colleges, which the student can get if he scores and off marks to be eligible for convener admission.

This convenor quota is  broadly divided into three categories- type A seats which take the government fees while studying in private colleges, type B seats charge approximately 45 to 50 lacs for the total duration of medical studies, and type C seats refers to the management quota which charge even more fee of about 1 crore for the same.

Hope it helps!!

In AYUSH counselling , free exit, option is available only if do not join the seat allotted . And once you join, you are not allowed to exit. You may opt for an upgrade of seat in further rounds but not allowed to exit. In the 3 rd or  Mop-Up round for Govt./Govt. aided/Deemed/Central University/ National Institute , exit with forfeiture of fee is available ,if not joined. Once you accept and join , you are not eligible to resign/surrender the joined seat nor will you be allowed  for any further counseling through Central/State/UT/ Nominated seat etc .You can go through the counselling guidelines to know about all the rules .

I have passed my 10th and 12th from a Delhi school but have stayed in UP for more than 10years.Am I eligible for the state quota of both states in NEET?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Jan, 2021

Hi

Yes, you are eligible for both Delhi and UP state quota for neet counselling.

This is because,

To be eligible for Delhi State quota one needs to have either domicile of Delhi or should have completed 10 + 2 from Delhi and as you have completed your 10 + 2 from the Delhi you are eligible for Delhi State quota.

You are also eligible for UP state quota as :
To be eligible for UP state quota you should be domicile of u p and to have done your 10 + 2 from up or if you have not done your 10+2 from up then you need to produce domicile certificate and as you have been living in up for more than 10 years you are eligible for domicile as the criteria for UP domicile is  that the person's  parents should be permanent resident of UP or the peron should be living in UP for more than 3 years.

As you have very limited time left for your Neet 2021 examination , you should focus on your neet preparation following the below tips :-

*Go well through NCERT and master it
*Make routine or timetable :- your routine should revolve around 3 things i.e study, revise and practice
*After finishing each chapter you should practice questions, you should practise at least 80 to 100 numericals / mcqs in Each chapter
*Solve previous year NEET questions
*Once done with complete syllabus, go through NEET mock test papers

You can prepare well using our neet program  for which link is provided below

I have caste certificate of UP but I have done my 12th from Maharashtra state board, then how can I get admission in medical Colleges In UP. The boards marksheet of Maharashtra and caste certificate of UP will be valid and how to apply it...???

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Feb, 2021

Hi

You are not eligible for Maharashtra state quota as it is mandatory to have to be domicile of Maharashtra and have completed 10 + 2 from Maharashtra but you are not domicile of Maharashtra and thus not eligible for state quota in Maharashtra

But yes,
You are also eligible for UP state quota if you are domicile of UP .

This is because,
To be eligible for UP state quota you should be domicile of up and should have done your 10 + 2 from up
or
if you have not done your 10+2 from up then you need to produce domicile certificate .
So, it is completely ok even if you have not done your 10 + 2 from UP, you will have to just produce your domicile certificate in order to be eligible for UP state quota
