Hello aspirant,
I believe that you are perhaps a little too young to be making preparations at this time.
It will still be another eight to ten years before you are even qualified to take the test. However, there is never a bad time to learn. The best thing you can do right now is read through each NCERT carefully. You should continue to do this even after moving on to the following standard. NCERT is the most crucial resource for preparation, which is why I say this.
You'll find it much simpler when you do begin your preparations a few years later.
Hope it helps you.
Hii There,
You will meet the eligibility criteria for the UPSC exam in 2026. This is because the UPSC requires candidates to be at least 21 years old as of August 1st in the year they intend to take the examination. According to your provided date of birth, you will turn 21 on March 15, 2026, which is before the August 1, 2026, deadline for eligibility. Therefore, you will become eligible to take the UPSC exam in 2026, specifically for the UPSC 2026 examination cycle.

You can go with BA program as it easy to manage classes ( refering to course) our if u are fully dedicated u can do a ba degree from a distance learning and easily give 3 year to ur preparation.in ba u can choose a good combination of subjects that will help u for ur upsc exam
U can go for BA .you can choose any undergraduate course of your choice, but it is recommended to choose a course that aligns with the UPSC syllabus. Subjects such as history, public administration, economics, political science and sociology can be helpful in preparing for the exam.
I hope all is well with you. Nothing less than a degree qualifies you to take the UPSC civil services test or the IAS exam. Therefore, it is irrelevant if you choose PCB or PCM in your 12th year or seek a degree in the arts, sciences, business, engineering, or medical. The only thing required is graduation.
So I would suggest you do your graduation first and also prepare for UPSC exam along with your graduation.
Hope this information helps you.
