See one thing must be cleared that you are not late at all. The minimum age to appear for SBI PO exam is 20 years old and you are only 21 years
Good or Average is a relative term. So you should not bother yourself depending on this. You should focus on the exam and obviously you can crack SBI in 1.5 years. You should not be demotivated and be regular in studies. You will obviously succeed.

The answer is yes. In Upsc mains exams there are two optional papers in which u can choose any subject of your choice including physics, chemistry and maths. It's a subjective paper and you have to explain your answers nicely.
