If you are in first year of engineering and want to start your preparation for UPSC or the IAS examination then you need to really good at balancing and managing time and both your engineering study and studies for UPSC

To start your preparation for UPSC  first of all

I would seriously suggest you to go through syllabus first. Go twice, thrice so that it can intact into your mind.

Read all the NCERT first. Go through Polity, History, Geography, Economics, Mathematics (6-10), Science (especially biology part)

After completing these things you can switch to the main syllabus like

For this you must have 6/6 vision or 6/9 with or without correction. Surgery like Lasik, icl, iol etc are also allow ed but those who have myopia
