I got 40% in graduation. Am i eligible for IAS and IPS post in UPSC and likewise DC & DySP post in MPSC....A friend of mine told me that you can appear for both the exams but youre not eligible for this posts cauz they have special criteria of having 55% in your graduation. Is it true?

Both these exams do not consider the graduation percentage. So, you are eligible for both these exams.

Your score in graduation degree is not remarkably positive if you wish to become an IAS officer.
