Is hindi language is compulsory for upsc exams?

Hi..

No Hindi Language is not compulsory for upsc exam until you choose hindi language as a compulsory  paper in upsc mains. You can give your paper in any language which is mention in the Eighth Schedule. But question of  upsc pre print in only language English and Hindi.

The eligibility age criteria for appearing in the UPSC exam is minimum of 21 years old.

So according to your date of birth, yes in the year 2023 you should definitely be eligible as you would be 21 years old, but just hope

I would say, your UPSC preparation phase starts only towards the Final Years of Graduation or maybe while youre on your First Job. Otherwise the First 2-3 Years of Engineering you do need to deal with the branch you select in detail. Hence my suggestion would be select the Branch
