VJ stands for Vimukta Jati or denotified tribes. So, as per constitutional quota, Vimukta Jati is considered as NT -B. So, if you come u der Vimukta Jati you should choose your category as OBC in the UPSC entrance exam. You will be treated under benefits for OBC caste
