Hey Priyanshu,
During the process of seat allotment first the category rank is considered of the student for alloting the seat. If the student doesn't gets seat on the basis of Category rank then the general rank is considered.
So yes, you may get colleges on the basis of your general rank too.

Hey aspirant,
For the verification of documents your original marksheet of class 12th is only considered. You can't upload or use your digilocker marksheet.for more details you can refer to the link mentioned below-
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/upsee-counselling/amp
There would be no problem in attaching both of your marksheet for verification process for counselling of UPSEE. Your first marksheet will be a proof that you have passed your examination and improvement marksheet will verify your passing in your Maths examination. So, you need not to worry about it and you can submit both of your marksheets.
Hello dear student
Yes you can submit your digilocker certificate the digilocker approved by Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India under its Digital India initiative. So it is accepted all India.
Hope that's helpful
Best of luck

Hello. As per my research, you must attach or take scan of latest markaheet, that is th e improvement marksheet.
Because at the end of the day, Mark's counted and the aggregate taken are from the improvement one. So yes, you will need to upload it in a pdf form, so do scan properly and clearly, and then upload this document.
If there is any size issue, then make use of pdf compressor available on Google.
Hope that helps!
