If you are going to take diploma then it is going to be for 3 yrs and when degree it is 5 years.if you had completed the diploma then you are to be holding a diploma holder with a limited edition of skills.in degree you do have a name after completing atleast a architect.degree is more flexible compare to diploma!! It can't be said for sure as the criteria are different for different institutions in the UK. As a bachelor of Architecture, you still have fair chance to avail a good career in a place like UK. Try contacting existing architects in the place and then decide accordingly.

The top colleges for getting into any B.arch program are the SPAs, NITs or the GFTIs.
However there are many more SFTIs too which are considered very good for persuing B.Arch.

you have to score more than 60% aggregate in your 10+2 major in physics, chemistry, mathematics / biology , english. The Better score you do the better will be for selection in top colleges.
to Get an admission in any government college:-
take any state level or national level entrance exam and get a score below the previous year cutoff.
To do all this, you have to study smartly and have to do daily practice. Don't try to gulp everything.
Gain knowledge and understand every concept. By doing this you will remember everything for a long term and you can work on the concept in your future studies too.
