Indian institute of technology, kharagpur 

School of plannig and architecture, new delhi

Centre for environmental planning and technology, ahmedabad 

Guru ram das school of plannig, guru nanak dev university  (punjab)

Dependa on which field you want to choose. If you are aiming for top colleges like IIT ,IIM, yoully have to work your heart out. And yes some colleges do give admission through sports quota, but you have to be exceptional in the field of sports.

It is obvious that the salary will be given monthly basis. But in the appointment letter salary is mentioned annually. For eg, Rs.5 LPA that means Rs.41,000 per month.
