• The UP Board also gives students the option to write answers in either Hindi or English, irrespective of what language they chose during registration, provided the student writes in the same language throughout every answer book.
• It is no problem and no penalty if you write your paper in English once registered in Hindi, provided that you do not blend languages within the same answer.
• Your paper will be marked and processed in the normal way, and your grades will not be compromised simply because you wrote in English rather than Hindi.

To appear for any subject in the UP Board exam, including English, you must select it and fill in the details during the registration process.

You cannot choose to write an exam in English on the day of the exam if you haven't registered for it.
