If you get a decent rank under 2000 then yoy can get into a better college like iet lucknow, biet jhansi, jss noida and other gov. colleges.
Wait till 25 may 2018 it's time when counselling process will start. Some seats are reserved for students outside from Uttar Pradesh.

As per my knowledge upsee gave correction opportunity in application form that is for sure but for applying for councelling in any particular you can appeal to them for further corrections as it depends on college authorities
