I am getting 585 in uttarakhand general state quota , doon medical college closed at 588 last year can I get it at 585 this year
Hello aspirant,
Through the state quota, the last seat at Doon Government Medical College was allotted to a general category student with a score of 588. Since the cut off changes every year depending on various factors such as category of the student, difficulty level of the exam, number of students attempting the paper and number of newly opened medical colleges, it is quite difficult to predict the colleges you can get into.
However, since your score is quite near to the previous year’s cut off, you might have a chance of getting a seat in Doon Medical College.
You can also get a seat in Soban Singh Jeena Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Almora whose last seat was allotted at a score of 566 marks.
Nevertheless, you have good chances of getting a government seat in Uttarakhand through the state quota.
All the best!

my father is from Rajasthan, but due to all India govt service, presently he is posted in Dehradun, how can I get domicile quota of Rajasthan and Uttarakhand
Hello Student
You cannot get domicile of both states that is Uttarakhand &, Rajasthan. There is two criteria for getting domicile certificate of the specific state. If you studied in the specific state at least not less than 10 years then your domicile would be from that specific state. On the other hand and where you have born in a specific state in inheritance relation you will get domicile certificate of the state in this connection your father's or your any of the parents living in this state not less than 5 years. You have born in the state of Rajasthan and your parents living there are not less than five years then your domicile certificate will be from the state of Rajasthan. But if you have studied in the state of Uttarakhand for not less than 10 years then your domicile certificate will be from the state of Uttarakhand.
Hope this helps.
