The college started in the year 1997 primarily with three departments only.

The college provides scholarships for deserving candidates, good placement, and quality education system.

Placements in college are not that good. However, the placement cell is doing their work as they can do for students but not much good companies are visiting the campus. There are many fraud companies visited the campus and we were very disappointed with it. But it is okay as the college is not located in an industrial area.

Veer bahadur Singh purvanchal university is a government state university, approved by UGC where as technocrats group of institutions is a private affiliated institution  approved by AICTE. Number of faculty is almost same in both. But facilities are more good in technocrats institutions, also it has more good rating than the other.

Hey Shubham! Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) was established in 1987 as an affiliated university under U.P. State University Act, 1973. VBSPU offers B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Pharm Lateral entry courses along with BA-LL.B (Integrated) at UG level. At PG level, the university offers MBA, MHRD, M.Sc., MCA and MA courses. At Research level, it offers Ph.D. course in various discipline. VBSPU has good academics but in terms of placements it is not appropriate. Hope this may help you.

About Veer bahadur singh purvanchal university, jaunpur sports facilities -

A large open stadium of ground and sitting capacity of 5000. Ground also has a well worked out track of meters. The lounge of the stadium includes rooms in first and second floor and other basic facilities useful for conducting sports, NSS, Rovers and Rangers programmes. In the recent years the university has conducted several sports events like All India Kabbaddi , Basket ball , handball, Inter-University Cricket tournament etc. Basketball court is also there.

No, there is no uniform.

VBSPU offers admission to various UG, PG and Ph.D. courses on the basis of a valid score in UPSEE, PUCAT and PURET respectively. Final admission to all the courses is based on the counselling rounds conducted by the university. Online application form can be filled from the official website of VBSPU.

Interested candidates can download the application form, admission brochure and other details from VBSPU website.Filled in application form can be submitted in person or through registered post along with bank draft of INR 200 (INR 150 for reserved categories).Bank draft must be drawn in favour of “Finance Officer, V. Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University accepts UPSEE for admission of students. For CSE and BC category the cutoff rank range is :- 27405-33825. for IT branch :- 48143-61321.

CSE and IT branch is mostly same except some subjects are different in some semester. If your rank is in the range then you can take an admission for sure.

Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University formerly known as Purvanchal University is a very renowned institution. The department of Mathematics in this particular college is one of the oldest. It provides a good center for learning and research. The department of Mathematics keeps in pace with advanced technology for the students. It is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in teaching and research. Overall it is worth giving a chance. Hope this helps! 

I will advise you not to expect much from it as they boast and assure that the placementis well and good, but it is not upto the mark. Only some of the companies visit the campus, out of which they select only a few of the students. This is very distrubing for any student concerning their future.
