On account of Covid19 pendemic both JEE advanced and VITEEE got delayed. JEE advanced is yet delayed but VIT has announced VITEEE rank list based on class 12 score of students.

There are basically 5 categories for VITEEE and all have different fee structure depending on your ranks obtained as given below:-

1. 1-20000 is for category 1.

2. 20000-40000 is for category 2.

3. 40000-65000 is for category 3.

4. 65000-99999 is for category 4.

5. And 1lac

If you want to go via normal process then you can't get CSE in Chennai Campus but if you want to go through category wise then there is a chance.

You can get CSE in category 3rd or 4th depending upon the the number of students applying for the counselling

If you want Vellore Campus through Category 1 then it would be difficult as most of the times it gets over under 20k rank only.  But if your luck favors then you can get Bio Technology or it's substitutes stream, sometimes Chemical too. Otherwise you will have to switch Chennai

Basically these cutoffs changes each and every year but in the VIT Case it is bit complex as they do not disclose any cutoffs as official figure.

But in general considering your case then i can say that you have to opt for category 4th or 5th to get CSE
