It is a very tough to get admission in VIT Pune with 88 percentile in JEE Mains Examination.

You can try attempting some other engineering examinations. Also, you can attempt VITEEE Examination for admission into VIT campuses.

VIT Vellore the oldest University as compared to  both, it established on 1984. Its education quality is superior. Competition to get a seat here is higher. And placement record is also very good although it's carry on your own quality also. Faculties are too good infrastructure is also too good.

But another side if you look at Bennet University it is the newest. it established on 2016.its infrastructure is also good. But as it is newest so the placement record is not too good but the faculties are good.

So according to me you should option for VIT Vellore.

Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provide an stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. as far as these colleges are concern, i would prefer Lovely Professional University.

Obviously, Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT), Vellore has good placement record as compared to Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology(MGIT), Hyderabad.

VIT has higher average salary packages for both B.Tech and M.Tech than MGIT.

VITEEE, Cut off is the closing rank for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs in the Chennai and Vellore campuses of VIT University. It must be noted that the University does not declare any official VITEEE Cutoff. However, it is just the closing rank considered for admission on the basis of VITEEE.

VIT vellore campus: Computer science and engineering-7000-15000  i.e. opening rank and closing rank.

VIT chennai campus:Computer science and engineering-14000-33000 i.e. opening rank and closing rank

There is no such CSE branch with specialization in Artificial Intelligence. There are some other specialization in VIT vellore campus like CSE with bioinformatics or information security.

VIT offers B.Tech in Mechatronics and Automation . But the website doesn't mention the total seat intake. It is only available in VIT Vellore branch. You should write VITEEE 2020 for a seat in B.Tech Mechatronics. For writing VITEEE 2020, you should be born on or after July 1st, 1998 and complete your 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You should score atleast 60% in these 3 subjects of you belong to General Category. And the mininum aggregate is 50% if you belong to SC/ST.Due to lockdown the last date to fill in the online applications has been extended.
