Coming to the seats of m.tech in VIT is around 800-900 soo coming to the division of seats Is category one would be for the students who secured around 200 to 300 ranks and the category two would be for the people who secured around 700 to 800 ranks and the seats are distributed equally to the particular departments.so just attend the counciling to know about proper allocation....

Yes, conduct certificate is mandatory for counselling round of Vellore Institute of Technology. If your Transfer Certificate mentions that your character is good then I don't think so that you'll have to attach any additional conduct certificate.

No, you can't get into VIT for MCA with rank 1291.
Your rank should be around 500 to get admission in Vellore VIT for MCA.
But it also depends on the preference of other candidates selection of campus.

VIT takes admission for its vellore, chennai, amravati and bhopal campuses through VITEEE 2019. In order to get admission in VIT you need to appear in VITEEE. Without appearing in VITEEE it is not possible to get admission in VIT Chennai. The college does not take admissions based on JEE Mains score. Hope this helps.
