Can I get admission in veterinary college with 60th percentile and OBC category wise rank 380935

Avanishsree VP 26th Jun, 2025

With a 60th percentile and an OBC category rank of 380935, it is still very difficult to get admission into a government veterinary college, as the cutoffs for veterinary seats are usually much higher. Government colleges typically require a higher percentile and a better rank due to limited seats and high competition. You may still have a chance in private veterinary colleges, management quota, or in states where the competition is relatively lower.

in kcet 2025 i got 123 marks in kcet pcb theory and 176 marks in practical can i get veterinary seat

sadafreen356 18th Jun, 2025
It is difficult to definitively say whether 123 marks in KCET PCB theory and 176 in practical will get you a veterinary seat , as the final rank depends on the overall performance of all candidates and the specific cutoffs for each college. However, based on previous trends, a score of 120 in KCET PCB, with strong board marks, could lead to a decent overall rank, potentially within the range of a few thousand.
Here's why it's not a clear yes or no:
  • KCET Rank is crucial:
The final rank you get in KCET is determined by your performance in the exam (50% weightage) and your 12th-grade PCB scores (50% weightage).
  • Cutoffs vary:
Each veterinary college in Karnataka has its own cutoff rank for different categories.
  • Competition is high:
The number of applicants and the difficulty of the exam play a role in determining the cutoff marks.
To improve your chances:
  • Check official KCET cutoffs:
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the official cutoff ranks after the results are announced. Refer to the official website for accurate cutoff information for each college.
  • Participate in counseling:
Actively participate in the counseling process and fill in your preferred government veterinary colleges, as this will increase your chances of securing a seat.
In summary, while your score is good, it's important to wait for the official KCET results and cutoff information to determine your eligibility for a veterinary seat.

I get air 232619 in neet 2025 assam state can I get government mbbs/bams/veterinary seat through north east quota

lisa 1st Jul, 2025

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 232619 in NEET 2025, securing a government MBBS seat in Assam, especially under the North East quota, is highly unlikely. For MBBS, the competition is intense, and government colleges typically have cutoffs much higher than your rank. However, there's a slightly better chance with BAMS or veterinary seats, but it still depends on the specific college and category.

I am getting 65k rank and I am taking admission in any veterinary college and will prepare for neet simultaneously. If I get MBBS next year then which vet college in india has discontinuation penalty. Provide me a list.

lisa 1st Jul, 2025

If you are getting a 65,000 rank in NEET and plan to join a veterinary college while preparing for NEET again, you'll likely be able to secure admission to a government veterinary college. If you get a better rank next year and choose to discontinue your veterinary studies to pursue MBBS, some colleges may impose a discontinuation penalty. However, the specific details of these penalties (amount, conditions, etc.) vary from college to college and may not be explicitly stated in the prospectus.

Namaskara...My kcet rank in veterinary practical is 465 and 13000 in veterinary theory...do i have any chance to get seat for bvsc in any karnataka veterinary Colleges?

Previa Gayu 23rd Jun, 2025

With a KCET rank of four hundred sixty five in veterinary practical and thirteen thousand in veterinary theory your combined score should place you well within the expected cutoff range for BVSc admission in Karnataka government colleges The practical rank especially reflects strong hands-on skill which is valued alongside theory marks Combined ranks for reserved categories and open category both frequently allow admission well under fifteen thousand overall Given this you are very likely to secure a seat in a government veterinary college in Karnataka You should now register for the state counselling process and carefully fill in your college preferences Make sure all required documents like educational marksheets category certificate and KCET hall ticket are ready Ahead of counselling confirm your official KCET combined score and college wise closing ranks from previous years to better plan your choices

I got 27222 rank in ap eamcet 2025 in bipc stream Im from bc-d can I get veterinary seat in government colleges

Prachi Kumari 24th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a rank of 27,222 in AP EAPCET 2025 BIPC stream and belonging to BC-D category, it is very difficult to get a veterinary seat in government colleges .

  • Veterinary seats are very limited and the cut-off ranks for BC-D category usually close at a much lower rank. In past years, candidates with ranks below 5,000 had better chances for government veterinary seats.
  • You can still attend the counselling because sometimes seats may open in later rounds. Also, you can try for veterinary seats in private colleges or consider other related courses like BSc Agriculture, Horticulture, or Fisheries.

So, getting a government veterinary seat with your rank is unlikely, but keep your options open and attend all rounds of counselling.

Hope it helps !
