can I get veterinary by local category rank

Rahul Mandal 29th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to get a veterinary program through a local category rank; it also benefits you to apply in your state. Every state has different rules and cutoffs for admission, with most of the states favoring the students that reside in those states. So, you have a good chance to get admission.

I hope it resolves your query!!

What is the procedure to get seat in management quota in khalsa college of veterinary science?? I have a neet score of 277 (year 2025), any chance to get the seat?

Aryan 21st Jul, 2025

Hi dear candidate,

With the score of 277 in NEET 2025, it is less than the ideal score which is 400 or above. You can try through management quota seats for which you should directly contact the college via mail or visit the college in person to solidly secure the admission in the college. Also do not forget to carry necessary documents like marksheets, adhaar, passport size photos, certificates etc.

What is the procedure to get seat in management quota in khalsa college of veterinary science?? I have a neet score of 277 (year 2025), any chance to get the seat?

Nikita shahi 18th Jul, 2025

Hello,

If you’re looking to get a seat in Khalsa College (Amritsar) for Veterinary Science through management quota. There are a few seats reserved under the management quota. These seats are usually filled at the college level and not through the centralized counselling. You will need to directly contact the college administration to inquire about availability, fees, and documents required. These seats are limited, and they are often offered on a merit basis based on your NEET score and academic background.

As you’ve scored 277 marks in NEET 2025, there’s a decent chance you could be considered for a management seat, especially if there aren’t too many higher-scoring candidates applying under this quota. Your score may not be enough for a government seat in veterinary, but for private or management quota, it can be considered.

Also, keep your documents ready like your NEET scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheets, identity proof, and photos. You may also have to pay a higher fee under the management quota, so it’s best to confirm the exact amount from the college office.

If you want to know more about the college, seat intake,or fees, you can check this  page: Khalsa college of veterinary and animal science,Amritsar -Careers 360

Thank you!

Madam I got 12k rank in AP EAMCET can I get veterinary seat I belong to Bca category girl

Ayush Madanpotra 17th Jul, 2025

You cannot get admission into veterinary college through AP EAMCET anymore. From 2023, veterinary seats in Andhra Pradesh are given only through NEET exam. So, your EAMCET rank of 12,000 under BCA category will not be considered for veterinary admission.

If you did not write NEET, you cannot join BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) in AP. You will need to write NEET and qualify with a good score next year if you want a seat in a veterinary college.

For BCA category girls, the NEET cutoff for veterinary in Andhra Pradesh is usually around 400 to 490 marks depending on the year and number of applicants.

If you want, you can still use your EAMCET rank for other courses like BSc Agriculture, BPharm, or DPharm under BiPC stream.

Hello

With a NEET 2025 rank of 297,172, a seat in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) may be unlikely in most government colleges, but some colleges still accept ranks in this range—especially under All India Quota on private categories

My neet score 358 Air 297172 My telangana eamcet rank 9128 Im interested in veterinary course Where can I get admission

Ayush Madanpotra 14th Jul, 2025

With your NEET score of 358 and AIR 2,97,172, you will not be able to get a seat in government veterinary colleges through the all India quota. The cut off for government veterinary colleges under all India quota is usually below 75,000 rank.

In Telangana, veterinary admissions are also based on NEET scores, not on EAMCET rank. So your EAMCET rank of 9,128 will not be considered for veterinary seats. And even under Telangana state quota, the cut off ranks are usually under 80,000. So it will be difficult to get a seat in a government veterinary college with your NEET rank.

However, private veterinary colleges may accept students with NEET scores between 250 and 400, especially under OBC quota or management seats. So you still have a chance to get admission in a private or self-financed veterinary college in Telangana or nearby states.

You should apply to private veterinary colleges and also keep options open for related courses like B.Sc Animal Science, Agriculture, or Allied Health Sciences.

I got veterinary ranking in theory 65000 can I get seat in counseling

Afreen 16th Jul, 2025

With a KCET rank of 65,000, it's unlikely you'll secure a seat in a government veterinary college through the regular counseling process. The cutoff ranks for government veterinary colleges are typically much lower, often within the top 2000-3000 ranks. However, there are still a few possibilities to explore:

1. Private Colleges: You could explore private veterinary colleges, which may have higher cutoff ranks. These colleges may have different fee structures and admission criteria.

2. NEET Counselling: If you have a NEET score, you can participate in the All India Counselling for veterinary seats, where the cutoffs might be different from KCET.

3. Check for Vacant Seats: Keep an eye on the official KCET website for updates on seat availability in subsequent rounds of counselling, as some seats may become available due to cancellations or other reasons.

4. Explore Other Options: If veterinary science is your passion, consider exploring related fields or options in animal science or related areas that may have more accessible entry points.

I scored 416 in neet 2025 can i get a veterinary college from sate outa of haryana in OBC as a female candidate or through All India outa i have resverd certificate

Sudip Patra 11th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

As All-India Quota:- Expected OBC cutoff based on trends for government veterinary colleges is around 480–520 marks, possibly even higher for top colleges .

Your score (416) is well below this range, so chances under AIQ are very slim.

Apart from it as state quota :- Haryana itself does not have a government veterinary college; state quota isn’t appl icable.

Can i get a veterinary seat at a rank 180151 in obc haryana as a female candidate

SHUBHANGI SINHA 10th Jul, 2025

Hello,

As an OBC female candidate with a NEET rank of 180151, your chances of being accepted into a government Veterinary College in Haryana are slim. In Haryana, OBC students typically have substantially lower cut off ranks, particular for government veterinary institutions.

Being a female may provide you a little edge in type breaker circumstances, but it won't have a big impact on your chances of winning a seat with that rank overall.

However, you can try for the private Veterinary college or self financed seats which had lower cutoffs.
