I got 31000 ranking in karnataka cet can I get government or management seat for veterinary course

zubin916 2nd Jul, 2018
Negligible chances for BVsc ciurses in KCET as cutoffs below 8000 ranks.

Your chances are good for following colleges into engineering streams:

  • Basavewshwar engineering college
  • Canara college of engineering
  • Maharaja institute of technology
  • GM institute of technology.

What is the criteria for taking admission in bombay veterinary college for other state through payment seat?

subhanshus s 26th May, 2018

Hi Drishti,

As,admission to 15% seats is through neet as all India quota in veterinary science applies to private too. For another 50% seats the test is conducted by respective universities. The seats are divided in two types state and management quota as well. For State quota ,50%(including 15%) all india seats too. And for Management quota, 50% seats in which student from other state can participate.

I hope it helps.

I am UR.i am expecting 405.i am local in ap.may I get bds or veterinary freeseat

Nikita Chauhan 22nd May, 2018
One thing that you need to understand is that there is nothing like free seat as such.
You are expected to PAY A NOMINAL FEE FOR WHATEVER COURSE YOU ARE PURSUING.
The charges will not be exhorbitant, but you will have to pay some amount.
Secondly, please wait for the results to be declared, unless we know what your rank is and how high the cut off goes, nothing can be said with absolute certainty.

i passed pu2 and im confused about wt to do next.b.pharm is gud or veterinary??

Raksha Anand 7th Jun, 2018

hello Pramukh,

as you know whatever you study you need to have interest in that particular field.

now lets emphasise on what these two courses are about.

b pharma is the bachelors in pharmacy that you can go for when you have interest in medicines, pharmacy and chemicals. while you can go for BVSc when you have interest in treating animals and their health.

if you have okay with pets and animals, BVSc is good. and if you have an interst in both, you can do a basic bachelors in biotech and switch to any of those.

good luck

Which is better , Bachelor of Veterinary science or B.Sc Agriculture

Piyush Kumar Dhir 22nd May, 2018
Hello buddy,

It all depends on your choice of interest. Every aspirant compares success with choice of interest. So talking about this Bachelor of Veterinary science doesn't have much scope when compared to Bsc in agriculture. I would surely advise you to go for Bsc in agriculture. One of my friend is currently pursuing Bsc in agriculture and it has far more success rate than Bachelor of veterinary science....

Hope it helped you....
