I get air 232619 in neet 2025 assam state can I get government mbbs/bams/veterinary seat through north east quota

lisa 1st Jul, 2025

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 232619 in NEET 2025, securing a government MBBS seat in Assam, especially under the North East quota, is highly unlikely. For MBBS, the competition is intense, and government colleges typically have cutoffs much higher than your rank. However, there's a slightly better chance with BAMS or veterinary seats, but it still depends on the specific college and category.

I am getting 65k rank and I am taking admission in any veterinary college and will prepare for neet simultaneously. If I get MBBS next year then which vet college in india has discontinuation penalty. Provide me a list.

lisa 1st Jul, 2025

If you are getting a 65,000 rank in NEET and plan to join a veterinary college while preparing for NEET again, you'll likely be able to secure admission to a government veterinary college. If you get a better rank next year and choose to discontinue your veterinary studies to pursue MBBS, some colleges may impose a discontinuation penalty. However, the specific details of these penalties (amount, conditions, etc.) vary from college to college and may not be explicitly stated in the prospectus.

Namaskara...My kcet rank in veterinary practical is 465 and 13000 in veterinary theory...do i have any chance to get seat for bvsc in any karnataka veterinary Colleges?

Previa Gayu 23rd Jun, 2025

With a KCET rank of four hundred sixty five in veterinary practical and thirteen thousand in veterinary theory your combined score should place you well within the expected cutoff range for BVSc admission in Karnataka government colleges The practical rank especially reflects strong hands-on skill which is valued alongside theory marks Combined ranks for reserved categories and open category both frequently allow admission well under fifteen thousand overall Given this you are very likely to secure a seat in a government veterinary college in Karnataka You should now register for the state counselling process and carefully fill in your college preferences Make sure all required documents like educational marksheets category certificate and KCET hall ticket are ready Ahead of counselling confirm your official KCET combined score and college wise closing ranks from previous years to better plan your choices

I got 27222 rank in ap eamcet 2025 in bipc stream Im from bc-d can I get veterinary seat in government colleges

Prachi Kumari 24th Jun, 2025

Hello,

With a rank of 27,222 in AP EAPCET 2025 BIPC stream and belonging to BC-D category, it is very difficult to get a veterinary seat in government colleges .

  • Veterinary seats are very limited and the cut-off ranks for BC-D category usually close at a much lower rank. In past years, candidates with ranks below 5,000 had better chances for government veterinary seats.
  • You can still attend the counselling because sometimes seats may open in later rounds. Also, you can try for veterinary seats in private colleges or consider other related courses like BSc Agriculture, Horticulture, or Fisheries.

So, getting a government veterinary seat with your rank is unlikely, but keep your options open and attend all rounds of counselling.

Hope it helps !

I have secured 319 in neet 2025. Will I get any government seat for mbbs/ bams/ bds/ or veterinary course

SHUBHANGI SINHA 1st Jul, 2025

Hello,

You have a very little chance of being selected for a government MBBS seat if your Neet 2025 score is 319, particularly through the all India quota, as government MBBS cut offs for even reserved categories usually very significantly higher.

For BDS,

During state quota counselling, you maybe able to get a BDS seat at a government dental College, particularly if you fall under one of the preserved categories.

For Veterinary,

Mini Government and private colleges accept your scores for veterinary programs, especially if you meet the state quota.

You can also apply for AYUSH courses or allied Health sciences, which offer you in lower cut offs.

Can I get Nagpur veterinary college with 40 marks in neet

shivani 21st Jun, 2025

No, a NEET score of 40 is far too low for Nagpur veterinary college (NVC)

You must Qualify NEET first,

Minimum qualifying score 2024

  • UR/EWS greater than or equal to162.
  • OBC/SC/ST greater than or equal to127.

40 marks is well below these cutoffs, so you would not even be eligible to enter the veterinary counselling program.

Can I get Nagpur college of veterinary with out neet

shivani 21st Jun, 2025

Admission to Nagpur Veterinary College (Government-run, under Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University) for the BVSc & AH program requires an entrance exam , and you cannot get in without NEET or a similar recognized exam. Specifically:

  • NEET-UG is accepted and required for admission via the All-India quota or Maharashtra state quota

  • ICAR AIEEA (All-India Entrance Exam for Agriculture) is also accepted at Nagpur Veterinary College

  • Some private veterinary colleges and certain state-run universities allow admission based on Class 12 marks or their own entrance tests , without requiring NEET

However, even private institutions often mandate at least a NEET score- even if it's just necessary to have appeared in the exam, not necessarily to qualify

  • In Maharashtra, private veterinary colleges typically still expect NEET attendance ; for government colleges like Nagpur, it’s mandatory
