Government Colleges

• For general category - 450+
• For OBC Category - 400+
• For SC Category - 280+
• For ST Category - 250+

So if you belong to General Category, with 317 marks, it is difficult to get a Govt. Veterinary College.

With your neet rank of 459220 and state rank of 21737, the chances of getting a seat in government medical college for veterinary is not possible. Rather you may try for private medical colleges also through management quota which could be possible enough. Hoping for the best. Thank you.

If location of work is really important and you are picky about it, then Dentistry (BDS) will be the better choice. The reason being that while there has been a growth in vet sciences over the years most govt. jobs are available in rural areas. Earning wise too BDS

If you did your 12th from commerce background, then you can't get admitted into BVSc. BVSc colleges requires your NEET UG scores to help you in getting admissions, and to get your NEET UG cleared, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Biology,

since you have already finished diploma in veterinary science and animal husbandry you can answer any national entrance such as neet ug or aipmvt and then through the marks you obtain you can check the cutoff scores of that year and get through in to the college of your choice
