see most of the institute does not allow admission in middle of any course, but some times migration is possible if the two colleges is affiliated by same university.

G H Raisoni college of engineering and management pune and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune both are affiliated by pune university. I suggest you to directly contact with the college authority for the possibility of admission .

First of all MIT WPU pune is a private university and the other two come under SPPU.MIT has been private a few years ago but VIT and VIIT are well known colleges since about 18 years and in consideration with fees MIT has 4 lakh fees per year and VIT and VIIT have about 1.6 lakh per year also MIT provides high packages from 20 lakhs to 25 lakhs and VIT and VIIT provide high package from 14 lakhs to 18 lakhs.Hope this cleared doubt.

see when we start a bachelor course after 10+2 we just start from the initial step, it is not only you who do not have the depth knowledge, no one knows in depth about any career line, when starts a new journey of education. see astronomy is related with physics and mathematics, it involves the studies of space, gravitational energy, phenomena occurs in the atmosphere etc. so if you are really interested in this things than you should go for it.

VIT Pune is one of the top private engineering colleges in Maharashtra and thus, has a decent cutoff. So cutoff for branches like CSE and IT will go as high as 153-160 and above only. The exact cutoffs obviously can't be predicted as they depend on various factors like number of competitors, the paper difficulty, etc. But try to score maximum marks ie around 165 and above only to secure your seat in that particular college. Cutoff for mechanical branch previous year was 148 marks. Electronic engineering had cutoff around 137 marks. CSE and Mechanicak Engineering 2nd shift cutoff goes a little less compared to first shift cutoff.
