is viteee easier than joint entrance exam ?

Ronak Gala Student Expert 31st Dec, 2020

VITEEE is the entrance exam only for VIT college. And Joint entrance examination is a national level examination for entry into IITS, NITS, Government as well as other private engineering colleges of INDIA. So comparing isn't easy and should not be done too, both exams have their own levels and difficulty pattern.

Kindly refer to the link below to know more about both the exams -

is viteee is of the same level of mht cet?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 30th Dec, 2020
Hello,

In VITEEE question are asked from 5 areas :
Physics - 35
Chemistry - 35
Mathematics - 40
English - 5
Aptitude - 10
The total number of questions is 125.

In MHT CET there around two sections-

Section 1- Physics and Chemistry
Section 2- Mathematics

And the duration of exam is 180 minutes (90 minutes for each section).

The level of both the exams is moreover same. The questions in MHT CET is little bit tougher than VITEEE. But both VITEEE and MHT CET are lot easier than JEE.

I hope this helps.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 29th Dec, 2020
This kind of predictions can't be made as everything changes from time to time. So you should try the best you can do rather than to follow any data based predictions.  Still for your preference you can see the data provided below:

Marks                                   Rank
115-119                              250-500
90-114                                500-2501
80-90                                  2501-5000
70-79                                  5000-6500
60-69                                  6501-8500

I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!

hi I did not get any seat allocated in round 1 or 2 of kcet and now dont want the seat allocated in second extended one ..should I surrender ..what is the process..since I am not able to see any option in the website.

iammohdshareef 28th Dec, 2020

If you don't want the seat which is alloted in the extended round then you can cancel it. But see that once you cancel your admission, it won't be a problem to get admission in the another collrges. See that before you cancel your admission you have chance to apply in the another colleges or get direct admission from any particular College
