my son got 30331 in VITEEE2019.what are his prospects for getting cse in chennai or vellore ?

Congratulations on your son achievement as your son obtained 30331 rank in viteee so in Vellore you will nit get but in chennai there is a chance as in 2015 the closing rank was 33000 but in 2016 there is 14000 .. so you can try it this

Hey there !!

As per your rank and previous year cut off you may get VIT-Bhopal as last year those who got rank below 1,00,000 got there admission easily.

You may get CSE , electrical ,electronics or mechanical branch there,.

But I recommend you to not go for that campus

My VITEEE rank is 7856. Will I get CSE in Vellore Campus?

Getting CSE at VIT, Vellore might be a bit difficult as the cutoff marks is 70-80 out of 120 and the cutoff rank is 5,500. You can CSE at other campuses.

Hello Aniket Kulkarni,

VIT Vellore campus and VIT Chennai campus are the older ones. They are very reputed and hence have really high cutoffs. Usually, you must have a rank under 50,000 in VITEEE entrance examination.

VIT Bhopal and VIT Amaravati are new campuses of Vellore Institute of Technology College.
