Sorry to say but with this rank you couldn't get any branch in VIT Vellore or Chennai as the closing rank for branches like fashion technology and textile engineering in these campus are below 55k. But you could easily get ME in new campus of VIT like amravati and Bhopal

You have scored a decent rank in VITEEE. You cannot get CSE and IT in VELLORE or CHENNAI because their cuttoffs are very high around 6,000 and 15,000 as they are the most prefferd branches. Rest of the branches you can get in both of the colleges.

For Chennai, you can get Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fashion Technology, Electronics, and Computer Engineering.

As per your rank and previous year cut off you might expect bio-medical engg or you may expect production and industrial engg, fashion technology or you might go for 5 category for some branches like civil,chemical engg or even meachanical branch with spec.

It would have been easier if you got a 40,000 rank but with 50,000+ rank it is tough. Nevertheless go for counselling and lets see what happens. There are donation seats as well so you can try your luck there if open seat doesnot happen. CSE with your rank
