See just qualifying any of the engineering entrance exams in the country doesnt provide u a seat in any of the college to pursue ur btech career. For getting mechatronics u should be scoring a min score to get a seat in the Vellore campus. U might score

• Journalism and mass communication.
• Law.
• Bachelor of business administration.
• Fine arts.
• Hotel management.

For this rank you have no chance to get CSE in VIT vellore campus because based on the previous year closing rank you mostly have no chances in 1st Category. Anyways you have chances to get in second category. But for this rank you could get ECE,

There are three category for fees based on your VITEEE rank

Fees for diffrent cateogery are 

Cateogry 1- tution fees 195000+ 3000 caution deposite

Category 2-tution fees 304000+3000 caution deposite

Cateogry 3- tution fees 402000+3000 caution deposite 

These are fees after adjusted after scholorship based on the rank.

The result for entrance examination VITEEE conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology will be released in the last week of April 2019 (tentatively on 25th April).

Hi Aditya, you have a decent rank and you may secure a seat in the Vellore campus. I cant assure about the cse branch yet you can still go for it. You may get it in the second or 3rd category. But in the 1st category you will definately get

you rank is pretty good dude.You can easily get into the civil or eee branch at vit vellore .There is a possibility that you get in the first category only .So dont worry about it,you will get in easily.Placements,faciities and faculties are also very good.So go for it

I don't think VIT discloses marks. So, i don't know from where did you get to know that you will be getting 50 marks.

Yes, they publish ranks and if you get a rank under 5000 then you can surely get CSE in VIT in Vellore Campus.
