Chances are low enough if you have bene targeting Vellore and Chennai campuses as closing rank is in range of 50000-55000.

However, for new campuses like Bhopal and Amravati you seem to have decent chances as they are newer and looking to attract quality students.

Vellore and chennai campus are premium institutions and have seen state of art infrastructure and top end placements.

Hence, cutoffs relatively on higher side within 50000 as closing ranks.

Results have been anoounced today on college website.

Admission counselling shall start soon.

You can get admission in Civil Engineering, Production Engineering at VIT Vellore Campus and Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering at VIT, Chennai Campus.

Hello Akansha,
Sorry to inform you but rank above 1.5 lakh is even not considered for counseling process. Unfortunately you cant get admission in any of VIT Campuses.
As per previous year, 50,000 rank was closing rank for VIT Vellore Campus and 55,000 for Chennai Campus.

With this score the chances are less for CSE branch in VIT Vellore campus but you might get the branch Chemical Engineering, Mechanical (Spec. in Energy Engineering) etc.
