So with regard of you're query. Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITEEE exam as a computer-based test. The exam is conducted to provide B.TECH admissions to candidates in the various campuses. IT is a computer based examination(online mode).They are 5 sections in this examination. Those are physics(25 questions), chemistry(25 questions) ,maths (25 questions),  English(2 questions) and aptitude(3 questions). The total marks of this examination is 80.each question carriers 1 mark. there is no negative marks. So, I would like to prefer to concentrate mostly on pcm subjects. so,   you score maximum marks

Well it is not possible to say whether you will get admission at any institute right at the moment, because it is up to the Institutes to decide the cut offs and closing rank of any branch, as these certain things are depends on the various factors like:

1- Number of students applied for admission.

2- Number of seats available at Institutes.

3- Category of an Individual, and many more.

Hence it is not possible to say whether you will get an admission in a particular college, however we can get a rough idea of closing rank by analyzing some previous year trends. So according to it, the closing rank of VIT branch for computer science and engineering is averaging around 7000.

Hai , i hope your are doing well . As per question there is no  chance for you to get cse/it/ ece in category 2or 3 . Because vit vellore campus as tough competition for cse branch below 3000 rank can get it and 5000 or above rank can get Chennai compus in category 1 .you can try other branches like civil eee you may get it in category 2 or 3.

It is difficult to predict the admission chances as each year the cut off can change due to several factors like :

• Seat Matrix
• Difficulty level of exam
• No of students appeared for the exam etc.

Well, as per VITEEE 2016 cut off , you have very few chances to get any branch in VIT of any domain . To get admission in any VIT , you need to rank min 50K .

In all, a rank of less than 40,000 can be considered by VIT for admission in popular BTech specializations coures like Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Biotechnology, etc
