No chance not at all. Sorry to dis hearten you but that's the reality.There is a cut throat  Competition for CSE in VIT especially for Vellore campus but for the sake of category 1 students from rank 4500-7500 tends to choose Chennai campus instead of Vellore in category 2.

So,

Every college has some pros and cons and eventually it is the student who matters.
Yet I would say that VIT Chennai may be somewhat better in terms of exposure, alumni base, proximity to head institution, etc. VIT Chennai was established back in 2010, so atleast a decade has passed

Due to Covid19 pendemic this year VITEEE was cancelled and the admission for the academic session 2020-21 was to be given solely based on class 12 aggregate percentage. A candidate seeking admission has to find place in merit list and then they would be shortlisted for counselling process.
