The gym is bullshit. The timings are very bad its for few hours and you'll be having classes at that time , there is negligible equipments in the hostel gym and there is another gym which charges 2k per month and that too doesn't make any sense as it only

I am from Vit chennai .I am doing EEE.

To be very honest,ECE in chennai is not that good.The faculty in Ece is not upto the mark.Most of the faculties's ,subject knowledge is not upto the mark.They are pretty strict 

However you will have to do self learning

Yes,you do have a chance of getting into mechanical engineering.Based on past recors mechanical engineering closes by 50-60k. So you do stand a chance of getting into mechanical engineering.Worst cum worse you will get at category 5 ,if you're really interested ;go for it! :)

VIT chennai will be best of these 3 options as you get good campus ,placement options, teaching staff etc. VIT chennai is better than any of the stated colleges.
