Both are two different courses and as per the majority, the mechanical branch is slightly tougher and also a preferable branch of an engineering student. But I am not neglecting the value the civil engineering too. It totally depends on you what you want to pursue. Choose wisely.

Irshad if you talk about comparing these two colleges then I would say that they are more or less the same . However in my opinion VIT , CHENNAI is a little more better as compared to KL UNIVERSITY , GUNTUR .

If we look upon the stats of previous years for VIT chennai in the field of CS then we can infer that CS generally closed at a rank of 33000 in year 2015 but this rank declined to 14000 in 2016 due to sudden rise in the demand
