Your choice should be based on the previous year placement scenario of the college you want to be admitted and the other determining factors like fees, opportunity etc.

You may not get the reputed college with cse branch with this rank but you can go with other colleges

Your rank is good enough, but you can't get government colleges. There are renowned private engineering colleges that provides quality education and placements. You can definately get seat in Institute of Engineering and Management in electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering.

As you have reserved category rank, you can try for Jadavpur University. But you have less chances to get seat into Jadavpur University. Apart from Jadavpur, you can get seat in electrical and mechanical in Kalyani Government Engineering college.
You can try for Coachbeher government engineering college, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering

You can get all the above mentioned branches till round 3 or 4.

Sorry but closing rank for jadhavpur university generally lasts upto 400.So there are no chances for IT branch in Jadhavpur university.You can only get arhitecture branch there.Jadhavpur is a recognised university so demand is high for this.Still you can get good colleges as your rank is not bad and you

Please mention if you are domicile of west bengal or not. I am assuming you are not domicile of west bengal then there is very less chance to get admitted into JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY. If you are domicile of bengal then you have slight chances to get admitted into JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY

You will surely get cooch behar and puruliya cse in the 1st round only. You will get better government engineering college also. You can get Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College in the 3rd round or in the mop up or decentralized round. So don't stop your counselling after 3rd round
