no you cannot take admission in IIEST,Shibpur through WBJEE.For taking admission in this college you should crack JEE main.Through your JEE main marks you can take admission in Nine fields of engineering.

Dear sayan if you get any rank in wbjee  you will be admit in b.tech college. But you get good engineering colleges to take on so you need to score good rank in wbjee.

The one who is  applying to UG courses must be Class XII pass with at least 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized university or board. It means that you are not requried to have 60% to meet elgibilty criteria. You just need 50%. So make sure
