Sorry to dishearten you. Not possible if you want good branch. The closing rank even for category is given on the basis of GMR/PMR that is General Merit Rank.So suppose you are a general candidate, to get CSE in Jadavpur University the closing rank was (GMR rank 153) in 2017.
