West Bengal Joint Entrance for Lateral Entry
Hello Amit,
Jadavpur University allows to get admission via lateral entry through JELET scores. JELET is a pen-paper based examination for admission to 2nd year Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses in participating universities, government colleges as well as self financing engineering and technological institutes in the state of West Bengal.
Candidates will be able to get a shot at admission to 2nd Year in Jadavpur University based on the merit list and cut off scores released by the college. Students who have done their diploma in engineering and passed BSC with honours are allowed to write the test and seek entry into the BTech programme.

The WBJEE exam application form filling date was from 18th October-13th November 2019 and the mode of filling was online and the admit card is released and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 2nd feb 2020. Please click the below link to know more.

It is quite difficult to predict latest rank but you can have a probable idea from the previous year cut off list of JELET exam , so for the same I am providing you a link below where you can see previous year cutoff list of this exam for different government colleges with different branch which may definitely help you to take a probable idea that what will be the cut off this year for same colleges.

Hi there, yes, those who have diploma will be considered lateral entry in the B Tech. You need to have 60 percent marks in engineering diploma and should have qualified LPUNEST. Hope this helps. Good LUck
