Work experience
Hello.,
The work experience differs for every company., But the minimum work experience should be 2 - 3 years. As far coming to the point of your academics then if the company prefer the academic results then you should have minimum experience of 5 years to get their confidence about work.
I think minimum academic percentile should be 75% it would be enough as the hiring would depend on your level of confidence and the performance you would give.
Hope you found this information useful. All the best

In case your institute has bleak placement opportunities, Electrical Engineering is a subject where there are a lot of off campus opportunities and you can always apply in them.
Besides this do develop Non Core skills in Software and Analytics as there are lot of career prospects and jobs in these domains in today's date. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Accenture besides many other MnCs often have Off Campus Placement Rounds.
You can perhaps prepare for GATE Exam and apply for PSU Jobs in public sector organizations like BHEL, SAIL, NTPC, BARC, IOCL, etc. Barring a few almost all Public Organizations open for Electrical Engineering.
You can also pursue a Masters degree from higher technical institutes in India like Top IITs and IISc, or perhaps prepare for Management Examinations post B.Tech like CAT, MAT, XAT.
Hence you see Placements are not the last alternative. You have a whole sea of opportunities after that. For more information regarding EE follow the link below

Dear Rahul ,
Yes ,you can start learning but it will take some time with you will face little bit top because you are not the background of IT/CS .First of all you start from the basics things like little bit coding knowledge or you can start from the python coding basic then only you can go through the Data science because data science is a vast course it includes so many things such as Machine learning ,artificial intelligence, python and so many things so you have to start from the basic .
If you will early gain knowledge then your future will bright because now days and upcoming days data science is most demanding with highly opportunities .
Think posting and do your work .
Thanks
Hi Aspirant,
This is the usually the first ques which comes often in the MBA aspirant's mind.
While the popular perception is that if you will score good in CAT like if you will score 90+ percentile in CAT is enough but the reality is it does not depend upon only on CAT percentile, it also includes the overall academic performance of the candidate and on the performance of the GD/WAT rounds.
Every IIM has their own percentile requirement:
IIM (A) : 100-99
IIM (B) : 100-99
IIM (C) : 99
IIM (L) : 97-98
IIM (K) : 97-98 and so on
This is the percentile or expected percentile cut off of IIM
I hope this will help you
Thank you

Hello Prateek,
This question depends on which MBA entrance you are going to focus on and the college or institute you are aiming for. In India CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, NMAT, SNAP, ATMA and GMAT are the most common MBA entrances CAT being the most toughest. If you are aiming IIMs then you need a very high percentile like 98- 99+ to get a call. Also your graduation percentage and 12th percentage in 60s ,top IIMs are a little doubtful. But there are so many other B-schools which you may try for which accepts XAT ,MAT etc. Also CAT is a highly accepted exam all over India so , there are many good MBA colleges which would accept 80 -90 percentile . So no matter which exam you are going to attend , always aim for 80 percentile minimum , to secure your chances for desired college.
Also note that the selection procedures may vary with different colleges , there will be separate weightage for different components like entrance score, interview, GD, extempore, work experience ,GK etc. Hence , prepare accordingly .
Read the below article to know about various entrances:

Hi,
Well your gamt score is pretty low considering the fact that you want to study in England. I would suggest you to improve your marks before applying. You can go for Cambridge University or Imperial College London or Oxford University. These are among the top ones offering business and related courses. You can directly visit their website and can check out the admission requirements and guidelines.
I hope this answer helps.
All the best.
There are business colleges in UK that accept the above GMAT score. Some of them are
Ashridge Business School
LUMS
University of Manchester -Alliance Manchester Business School
Imperial College, London
Warwick Business College and so on.
These are some of the colleges. The details of the college is available at the official websites of the respective college. Top colleges requires more than 600+marks in GMAT (this is only one of the eligibilities required). Also most of the UK universities ask for 2-3 year work experience. If you have any specific college in your mind, go to the official website of the institute and check the guidelines of admissions. All the best.
