Miles Education 15th Nov, 2019

While all IIMs offer some great courses, a good idea is to enroll for a course that gives you the best of both worlds - IIM alumni status and short career relevant course. The IIM Lucknow course  (https://www.mileseducation.com/analytics) by Wiley is a great example of leadership in business course for management professionals.

Another course is the IIML WileyNXT Analytics course  (https://www.mileseducation.com/finance/iim-lucknow-analytics) for finance and accounting professionals.

You can choose any of these courses along with the Wiley certified business analyst certification (https://www.mileseducation.com/analytics/WCBA) .

Which will be a better option MBBS from Bangladesh or B. Pharm from Delhi?

Nishtha_1559907112 Student Expert 5th Aug, 2019

Hello aspirant, both the domains are quite okay. If you want to have the value of your degree, you better study in India itself because manier times the students who graduate from abroad are unable to crack doctors license in India. Bpharma from Delhi will not give you high ended opportunities. Getting your degree in a good course will definitely be your own success. So choose wisely. All the best .

I have got 8 months work experience can I apply for cat ? with engineering degree percentage 63%.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 12th Sep, 2019

Dear Sharath, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, to be eligible for CAT, you should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% in your Graduation if you belong to General Category. It is 45% for Reserved Categories. So, irrespective of your Category, you are eligible for CAT. Now, regarding the work experience, most Institutions give additional weightage to work experience only if it is more than 12 months. So if you are still working, we would suggest you to continue to do so, until you put up atleast 12 months of experience to make it count in your profile.

can i get into iim ,iift with no work experience

Ankhi Banerjee 10th Sep, 2019

Hi,

You can definitely enroll in top B schools such as IIM and IIFT without any work experience as long as you obtain satisfactory CAT percentile. However, certain weightage or preference will be given to those students who have work experience already between one to five years.

Sir I got 564 and up state rank 2543 OBC cand. can I get gov. MBBS in 2nd round ?

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 6th Jul, 2019

Hey.

The cut off for admission in government colleges in Uttar Pradhesh under the State quota for the OBC category in the previous year 2018 was a rank of 56758 and  a score of 429 marks. The cut off changes each year due to several factors like level of difficulty or level of Competition etc. This year as the paper was easier the cut off based on marks will be higher than before.

Hence if your rank is better than the range mentioned above then you can expect a government college in the next round.

You can use the link below to check the previous year trends.

Best of luck.

On 284 marks from sc i can get am sion collage mumbai

Shreya Singh Student Expert 23rd Jun, 2019

Dear student, just 284 marks in NEET cannot give you any of the Government colleges, inspite of the fact that you have reservation by being of SC category. You can try on category A seats of private colleges, but the chances of admission are pretty less. Hence, it would be better if you go for management quota seats.

Iiest shibpur is it a good college

Saanch kaushik 22nd May, 2019

Hello Devendra 3638372..!.

My review on IIEST Shibpur would be divided into the following criteria:

  1. Campus Life: Well, this is something that is true in case of any Engineering college; the 4 years that you spend here will remain with you forever. Same is the case with IIEST Shibpur. I still have a year to spend here, yet I already think that how badly I will miss this place once I leave this place!! On a scale of 10, I would give it 10 without any hesitation!
  2. Academic atmosphere: As they say, ‘Where there is will, there is a Way’ holds true in this case. Amidst all the fun and happiness around, If a student is willing to work hard and study, IIEST Shibpur does provide you with the right kind of atmosphere. The University Library is open on all the days of the week and it is well equipped with a plethora of books. The professors too are ready to help in most of the occasions (I must mention that this is not true in case of all the professors! ) . My rating on this criteria would be 9/10.
  3. Placements: Well, this is the criteria that is generally given the highest importance while judging Engineering Institutes in India. I must admit that considering that IIEST Shibpur is the first IIEST of the country and is the Second oldest Enginnering Institute of the country as well, the placement scene doesn’t really make me proud. There is a lot of scope of improvement and this is where IIEST Shibpur lacks the most. My rating would be 5/10. (Though I must mention that the placements here are on an upward trajectory ! Hope it helps.
