what is the income of a freelance content writer in india

Abhinav Pandey 24th Dec, 2021

hi,

Content writing has now become a very good option for a profession and generates income as much as the other mainstream jobs like an engineer or a doctor. The scope has been increasing ever since the over usage of social media around the world, not to mention India being the highest in providing the users comparing the other countries.

So, you can secure a job in content writing and get paid almost as or even more than the others in mainstream jobs. But you need to acquire a qualification in order to explore the actual scope of it.

You rather need to make your skill into certification from an authorized institute to get yourself through the existing competition

What is the Scope of Content Writing in India

Although content writing is the buzzword for some years now, it is not something new. Content is communicating information and we have been communicating for eons in many forms.

Our ways and platforms of communication have changed drastically over the last two decades. Content writer is anyone who develops original content and puts it in a form understandable by others.

If you have created posts for Facebook or written a blog or tweeted, then you are a content writer too! Of course being a professional content writer entails something more. But we all do what a content writer does in a professional way.

Content for business marketing was implemented as far back in the eighteenth century by Benjamin Franklin when he published his yearly paper. In early 2000s search engines gave birth to SEO copywriters who finally evolved into content writers.

As Google rewarded quality content and penalized spammy content people now wanted professionals to write content

And also the minimum and maximum depends on the company to company, it can vary from 10k per month to around 60 to 70k per month. However as said earlier, it can vary.

Thankyou!

Yaseera Bhombal 22nd Dec, 2021

Hello Naresh,

If you can regularly create quality work, freelance writing can be a terrific method to make money and perhaps lead to a full-time job.
In India, the average monthly compensation of a freelance content writer is 16,000, implying that freelance writers earn roughly 2 lakh per year. This is according to data from a research conducted by Indeed, in which users were requested to provide wage information.

Some independent writers stated that their monthly salaries as freelance writers were between 25,000 and 40,000 dollars.

The typical freelance writer income for a fresher was discovered to be between 10,000 and 12,000 per month, while skilled content writers might earn between 20,000 and 60,000 per month.

Depending on the type of writing done, freelance travel writers earn roughly 16,000 per month on average, whereas freelance CV writers earn around 15,000 per month.

According to a survey, the hourly rate for a fresh, entry-level freelance writer in India is approximately 494 per hour. The same was determined to be around 510 for a mid-level skilled (1-3 years) freelance writer.

Again, scholarly writers' hourly earnings in India average 275 per hour, depending on the type of freelance writing.

The hourly wage of a freelance medical writer is around 365 per hour.

Learning SEO, Blogging, Proofreading, and Copywriting are some abilities that will be useful before you start kayaking in the sea of freelance writing.

why according to the writer do most of us fail in our efforts for self improvement

Priyanka Singh 28th Oct, 2021

H,

I hope you are doing well.

Most of us lose in our endeavors at self-improvement because our ideas are too grandiose and we hardly have time to execute them out. We also commit the fundamental error of publicising our resolution, making us appear even more silly when we revert to our old poor habits.

Since we are distracted by many things that impede us from developing, individuals who are focused and unaffected by their environment will achieve their goals regardless of what happens. Most of us do what pleases us rather than focusing on what will offer us pleasure in the long run. We seek short-term pleasures while ignoring the things that will cause long-term strain that will last forever.

Hope it helped

what is the retirement age of content writer in india

Mahak Pandya 24th Nov, 2021

Hii Naresh... I must say there is no retirement age for a content writer. It's like a business where one could grow up to any level. But let me clear you, in India, the content writers have quite tough competition to grow and build their career. If you once enter this area, you will atleast need few years to be a good content writer. Minimum 2 years are required to write something very interesting and which can attract a lot of attention. Though sometimes, it gets hard when people don't understand the POV and a single bad rating can destroy careers. I want to say that till you write good and something which attracts a lot of people, you don't need to look behind what you have done till now. Your growth rate will be exponential and will achieve high career. On the contrast, if it's not so appealing then you might need to find a good career!!

So there is no particular retirement age of a content writer till his writings get attention.
