In JEE 2022: 1) which attempt will be easier (March, April…)? 2) Number of students writing JEE (2022) decrease for each successive attempt, how could it help to score Better? 3) is getting 140 in 1 attempt equivalent to getting 150 in 4 attempt?

Jiya Garg 5th Jan, 2022

Greetings!

Jee main is conducted in four phase from 2021. It is difficult to predict which attempt will be easier as it depend on students and professors review .

It is not that the number of students appearing for the exam decrease with increase in number of attempt. A student is allowed to give any number of attempt even all four. Usually eight to nine lakh students register for applications with almost six lakh students registering for each individual attempt. The best percentile of four attempt is taken into consideration.

It depends on your efforts level whether you will gain marks or lose it in next attempt. It also depends on the difficulty level.

You must keep your preparation. Revise and practice again and again till you get your desired marks

All the best!

Now after somedays after the examination, you will get the response sheet via email, which will contain the question paper with the options you have clicked marked on it.

I have tested positive today(2nd Jan), my KVPY preparation has come to an abrupt end. As far as Their covid protocol states, I am debarred from writing Kvpy. Will I be given special room to write or what alternative do I have now?

piyush263001 2nd Jan, 2022

Hello,

Its very unfortunate that you have to go through this but since you have been tested positive for COVID 19 and you won't be allowed to sit for the KVPY Examination.

If the candidate possesses any of the Covid19 symptoms, then he/she will not be allowed to enter the premises.

Students’ temperature will be checked at the exam centre gate with a thermo gun and if the temperature of the candidate exceeds the upper limit then that candidate will not be allowed to go inside the exam centre.

There won't be any facilities regarding separate rooms for COVID positive examinees.

Further aspirants are asked to carry a self declaration form regarding COVID 19, to ensure they don't have symptoms of COVID and are COVID negative.

Students  without this self declaration form will also be not allowed to take the examination.

Kindly take care of yourself and try not to stress about the examination.

Get well soon.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

hello everyone. please tell how to practice daily gs answer writing with self evaluation ?

pdwords Student Expert 29th Dec, 2021

Hello,

You can practice answer writing for GS or even optional for that matter only if your knowledge base is strong enough, for example you cannot write answer about any topic or say government scheme which you're not well acquainted with, the three important parts of answer writing are introduction, body and conclusion, your handwriting should be decent enough to be read, you can start off by referring previous year question papers regarding this, also what helps is go through toppers answer sheets of previous years, even before starting off your answer writing go through topper answers, how they have presented an answer, what are the points included, and in your opinion what you could have added to fetch more marks, you should contemplate on this issue, reading newspapers help a lot during answer writing as you can add more relevant details, present the answer in more holistic manner, there are various programs by INSIGHTS, CivilDaily, GS SCORE, DrishtiIAS to name a few which help regarding this, you may consider checking out their official website to know more details regarding this, as you make your schedule for UPSC then you can make a specific time period for answer writing, and with daily practice it'll improve, don't expect that you'll be able to write a great answer at first, everybody struggle, trust me, this is same for every aspirant, but you have to be persistent in your efforts, that's the only way to excel.
